Most florists will honor a request to send flowers anonymously.  It is actually a request that is pretty common.  More commonly people will simply go to their local florist, in person, and ask for a bouquet of flowers to be sent to someone without the senders information included.  You can even let them know that you don’t want them to give the secret away, even if the recipient calls to find out who sent the flowers.

Today it is probably more common to have flowers send by ordering them on the Internet.  It is a lot more convenient than trying to hunt down a florist because all you need is a computer and a credit card and you’re on your way.  Because this is a pretty common request, you can usually just neglect to include a card with the flowers and they will send them without any trace back to you.  There are even some places that will allow you to send flowers anonymously in the form of a single rose.  Then if the person does not accept the rose, you are not charged a dime.  This is a pretty safe policy.  Who wouldn’t accept an anonymous rose at their doorstep?

There are many occasions where you might want to send flowers anonymously.  The first thing that might pop into your mind is high school.  There is no romance that feels as intense as young or mysterious romance.  You might know the perfect girl that you would like to send flowers to, but you really don’t want to let on that you are the one who is sending them.

Then of course there is that occasion when you have just met someone and you would like to see if there is a spark there between the two of you.  Nothing will get her attention like receiving a bouquet of flowers without knowing who sent them to her.  Then, when the time is right, give her a way to figure out that it was you who sent them to her.

It might be a little hard to pull it off, but if you were to be at a meal together at a restaurant and plan for flowers to be delivered to the table where you are having your meal.  This would probably be one of the most memorable things happen to her.  The key to making it a lot of fun would be for you to make sure and act like you are surprised that she is receiving flowers.  You would want her to have the initial impression that you did not send them to her.

Then tell her that you are going to go talk to the manager (who is holding your engagement ring attached to a rose).  When you are walking back to her with the rose in hand she would know something was up, and then she would catch a glimpse of the attached ring.  It would be intense.  Plus, most women like knowing that you are willing to make a small spectacle of yourself in public for them.

There are other reasons to send flowers anonymously too.  Maybe you really don’t want them to know it is you, because you really just want to give them a pick-me-up that they are not expecting.  Sometimes, just the though of someone caring enough to send flowers is enough to pick up even the darkest mood.

Most women love a romance that has some mystery attached to it.  Think about all of the good romance stories that women love.  In almost every case there is a sense of mystery to the relationship that makes it attractive.  There is just something about a secret crush or the thought of someone who has feelings for you, but is a little too shy to say something that makes it that much better.  You simply have to know who it was!

It is probably best to have some kind of note to go with your flowers.  Commendable as it may be that you built up the confidence to send flowers anonymously, it is recommended that you be willing to take it a step further and include some kind of note with the gift.  Give them some kind of clue to let that person know that they did not just receive a gift from a creepy person who has been watching them from afar.  I’m sure we can all understand the reasoning behind that.
